Mechanisms of sperm-egg interactions emerging from gene-manipulated animals

Untangling the molecular nature of sperm-egg interactions is fundamental if we are to understand fertilization. These phenomena have been studied for many years using biochemical approaches such as antibodies and ligands that interact with sperm or with eggs and their vestments. However, when homologous genetic recombination techniques were applied, most of the phenotypic factors of the gene-manipulated animals believed “essential” for fertilization were found to be dispensable. Of course, all biological systems contain redundancies and compensatory mechanisms, but as a whole the old model of fertilization clearly requires significant modification. In this review, we use the results of gene manipulation experiments in animals to propose the basis for a new vision. Earthshaker: A mobile rescue robot for emergencies and disasters through teleoperation and autonomous navigation

To deal with emergencies and disasters without rescue workers being exposed to dangerous environments, this paper presents a mobile rescue robot, Earthshaker. As a combination of a tracked chassis and a six-degree-of-freedom robotic arm, as well as miscellaneous sensors and controllers, Earthshaker is capable of traversing diverse terrains and fulfilling dexterous manipulation. Specifically, Earthshaker has a unique swing arm—dozer blade structure that can help clear up cumbersome obstacles and stabilize the robot on stairs, a multimodal teleoperation system that can adapt to different transmission conditions, a depth camera-aided robotic arm and gripper that can realize semiautonomous manipulation and a LiDAR aided base that can achieve autonomous navigation in unknown areas. It was these special systems that supported Earthshaker to win the first Advanced Technology & Engineering Challenge (A-TEC) championships, standing out of 40 robots from the world and showing the efficacy of system integration and the advanced control philosophy behind it.     

中国股市基于成交量的价格动量策略

根据1999年Hong和Stein信息逐渐扩散的行为模型，构建了中国股市基于成交量的价格动量策略、结果表明，低成交量组合中存在着显著的中期动量，并且持有低成交量赢者组合，明显能够战胜市场组合．成交量包含未来股价走势的重要信息，能够测度私有信息的扩散速度及动量交易的规模．传统风险因子对策略收益缺乏解释力，与信息逐渐扩散模型假设相一致，私有信息或公司特有信息的缓慢扩散，造成股价对信息反应不足，从而产生了价格动量．此外，由于信息不对称引发的股价操纵行为，对价格动量也具有一定解释力。     

基于四轴联动立式加工中心的非圆齿轮滚齿系统

非圆齿轮节曲线的曲率半径为变量，要求加工非圆齿轮时必须使刀具在切齿的同时，相对齿坯回转中心作特定规律的径向移动。在对数控滚切非圆齿轮所必需的4种控制运动进行分析计算的基础上，建立了基于四轴联动立式加工中心的非圆齿轮滚齿加工的联立数学模型，提出了在通用性较强的加工中心上滚切非圆齿轮的实施方案，为非圆齿轮的数控加工探索了一条新的途径。     

连续交易制度下的股市操纵模型

在不对称信息的金融市场模型里，价格反映了交易者持有的私有信息，知情交易者为了获取高额收益会操纵市场价格信息。本文通过连续交易制度下的竞价模型证明了只要在私人信息披露之前交易的周期数足够大，则均衡一定存在，且只存在全部知情交易者都执行操纵策略的均衡，即在有知情交易者执行非操纵策略时不存在均衡。     

Carton nest building and trophobiont manipulation in the south-east Asian ant Dolichoderus sulcaticeps (Mayr 1870) (Hymenoptera: Formicidae)

Dolichoderus sulcaticeps, a rare canopy living dolichoderine ant, was studied in the rainforest of Malaysia. It forms large polycalyc colonies comprising partial nests on trees and climbers. The three dimensional multichambered partial nests are situated on the leaf underside. Fibrous nest material is gathered from the surface of the nesting plants and soaked with water from the plant surface. Building activity, therefore, is strictly dependent on the presence of rainfall or dew. Within the cell with plant leaf surface contact, as well as on free feeding sites, non specific coccid and membracid throphobionts, are tended. Free feeding sites are permanently protected. Mealybugs are transported between existing and new free feeding sites, as well as to and from nest pavilions, especially during their construction or destruction. Prey hunting has not been observed in D. sulcaticeps. The workers, however, recruit to offered dead prey, and scavenged. During the day they were permanently on the surface of plants around their nests and feeding sites.

中国国画计算机色彩还原系统的研究

专家指出,自古至今书画文物复制仍然是保护文物的一项重要手段.其中珍贵名书画的色彩还原是其重点.本研究针对中国国画常用颜料色彩特性及国画色彩老化现象,利用计算机数字图像处理技术,色彩学理论在Windows XP环境中使用Visual C .NET编程,构筑中国国画计算机色彩还原原型系统.为国画色彩还原提供了常用的色阶、亮度/对比度、色彩平衡、曲线调节之外,还研发了基于HSV色彩空间的国画常用色彩还原,以及指定任意色域的色彩还原微调系统.经专业人员试验,达到了较好的计算机国画色彩还原效果.
